This year, we returned to Townsville, a stunning location we hadn’t visited since the early 2000s. With sunny weather ranging from 27 to 29 degrees and picturesque venues like THE VILLE Resort and the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre, attendees enjoyed a warm escape from Melbourne’s cold winter and sweeping sea views of Magnetic Island.

- Wine Bar Welcome Reception: The perfect icebreaker, featuring a Luau theme complete with Hawaiian dancers, drinks, and canapés. Attendees reconnected with familiar faces and met new members in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
- Member Business Update & AGM: Key updates were shared with members, including changes to the Shareholders Agreement and the election of new directors, reinforcing our shared vision for the future.
- Supplier Sponsor Presentations: Chemtools, Chematek, and Austech captivated attendees with insightful presentations, strengthening their alignment with AIS.
- Trade Show Days 1 & 2: Suppliers reported strong sales with $3.4 million in purchases, demonstrating the value of this key event.
- Happy Hour: Members and suppliers loved the lively drinks and canapés, fostering more connections and collaboration.
- Major Networking Event – Soccer Match: Back by popular demand, the Members vs. Suppliers soccer game was a crowd favorite! Under the Townsville lights, the AIS Footballers Choice team claimed another victory.
A Night to Remember – Gala Awards
The Luau-themed Gala Awards night was the perfect capstone to the event, complete with fantastic costumes, camaraderie, and generosity. Together, we raised a record-breaking $22,553 for Dementia Australia through auctions and donations. Your support means the world to us and makes a lasting impact.

Looking Ahead: Elevate ’25
As we reflect on the success of RESET ’24, we’re also gearing up for Elevate ’25, set to take place in late April 2025. Events like Reset and Elevate are essential for creating pathways to savings, rebates, and business growth. With the continued support of our members and suppliers, we look forward to achieving even greater milestones.
